Media Gateway and Circuit Cards

The Media Gateway and Circuit Cards (Figure 5-7) tab is where peripheral devices (i.e, VS-32,MG-PRI,MG-COT,MC-2A), Protocol Handlers, and Circuit Cards are assigned and configured. By default, all of the required protocol handlers will be automatically assigned, no user configuration is required.

The Setup button is disabled for the SV8500 SIP Server setup.

NOTE

When installing a peripheral device, the MA4000 Installation Manager will both configure the SV7000 and separately the peripheral device. To configure a peripheral device, a serial cable is required to connect the MA4000 Installation Manager PC to the device.
