Step 9 Click in the diagram or use the Slot drop-down menu to select a slot you wish to configure (see Figure 10-7).

Step 10 Use the Card drop-down menu to select the card you wish to configure in

the selected slot. If the card must be configured with additional parameters, the Edit Circuit Card dialog displays (see “Setup IP... button” on page 5-5).

You can also right-click a particular a slot in the diagram to display a pop-up menu, select the Insert Card option, then select the desired card from the displayed list.

Step 11 Complete the Edit Circuit Card dialog with the appropriate values for the card you are adding.

If you are configuring a physical protocol handler card refer to the following field descriptions. Some options may not be available, based on the type of MG card you wish to configure:

Name - Device name

Route Count - Number of the route that will be created for this device

Data Ch. Route Name - The B-channel name

If you are configuring a trunk card refer to the following descriptions:

Name - Device name

Default Gateway Address - IP address of your network’s gateway router

DRS Address - IP address of the Device Registration Server

IP Address - Device IP address. Each media gateway must have a separate IP address

Network Mask - Device IP network mask

Step 12 Click Zoom Out to return to the large-scale system view.

Step 13 (Optional) Repeat Steps 5-12 for any additional circuit cards you wish to assign.
