memory (DM), local data memory (LDM), and network data memory
(NDM) (see Figure 7-3). By default, Installation Manager supplies initial
values for these necessary parameters and uploads them to the CPU
during the installation process.
Experienced users can alter these values, as well as delete or create
new commands. Be aware that deleting required values may cause your
system to be non-functional. For complete information on using ASYD
commands to configure Voice Server features, consult the Office Data
Specifications Manual.
Data for each index is entered in hexadecimal format (00 to FF).
Example: Data = 19. Bit 0, 3, and 4 are set.

Each bit (in binary, 0 to 1) has its own unique meaning. Refer to the
Office Data Specifications Manual for details.
To use the default features, select the Use Default System Features
check box. Restore the default settings by clicking the Restore
Defaults button.
When the Edit or New buttons are selected, Figure 7-3 displays.

Step 1 Select the desired command (ASYD, ASYDL, and ASYDN) from the
Command drop-down field.
NOTE
These buttons are only enabled when the Use Default System Features option is
not selected.
