Speed Calling Tab

The Speed Calling feature allows a user or attendant console to call frequently dialed numbers using fewer digits (Abbreviated Call Codes) than normally required. This feature may be restricted using the Service

Feature Restrictions (SFI-12) settings. See Figure 6-9.

Information entered in the fields on the Speed Calling tab are for Phase 1 installations only.

IMPORTANT

The options available are No System Speed Calling, 2 Digit System

Speed Calling, and 3 Digit System Speed Calling.

When the Edit or New buttons are selected, Figure 6-10displays.

To be able to access System Speed Calling, a System Speed Calling key must be assigned to the Dterms, or a System Speed Calling Access Code must be assigned.
