2.1 READING DATA FROM THE OM-550

Option #1 Reading Data from the OM-550, on the Master menu allows the user to transfer the data from the OM-550 to the PC.

Before starting the read process, the communication cable must be installed and the OM-550 is ON.

To transfer data:

1.Press the key and instructions how to properly transfer data will appear on the screen.

2.Press any key to start transferring data and the number of bytes being moved will appear on the screen. If the program detects any errors during the data transfer, an error message will appear.

If the same communication port is being used for both the mouse and OM-550, be sure to reconnect the mouse after the data has been read.
