If the clip thumbnails are displayed as shown in the example above or their properties are indicated using a P2 device, the thumbnail and COUNT value of clip 1 will be displayed.
Clear the uploaded metadata
Select META DATA → INITIALIZE from the thumbnail menu, and press the SET button on the Operation lever. A YES/NO confirmation screen asks you to confirm that you want to initialize. Select YES using the Operation lever to initialize META DATA and clear the data read.
Formatting a P2 card
1 Turn the POWER/MODE switch to set to PB/ THUMBNAIL mode.
The thumbnail screen appears on the LCD monitor.

The selected P2 card is formatted.
Check that no important data remains on a card before formatting since data erased by formatting cannot be recovered.
