Setting the font number in
PCL
{#}{7}{6}{9}
To set the font number to be used in PCL printing. The unit assigns a number
to each font.
1. {Menu} i {#}{7}{6}{9} i {Set}
2. Enter the font number from 000 to 054, using the dial keypad.
LThe default setting is 000.
3. {Set} i {Menu}
Note:
LIf the font source in PCL (feature #768 on page 69) is set to Download
Font, the default setting is 001.
LTo print the font list, see page 103.
Setting the font pitch/point in
PCL
{#}{7}{7}{0}
To set the font pitch/point to be used in PCL printing.
1. {Menu} i {#}{7}{7}{0} i {Set}
2. Enter the font pitch from 00.44 to 99.99, or the point from 004.00
to 999.75, using the dial keypad.
LThe default pitch is 10.00 and the default point is 012.00.
LThe setting will be either font pitch or point depending on the font
number selected in feature #769 (page 70).

Setting the symbol set in PCL

To set the symbol set to be used in PCL printing.
1. {Menu} i {#}{7}{7}{1}
2. Press {V} or {^} repeatedly to display the desired symbol set. i {Set}

Setting the line breaks in PCL
{#}{7}{7}{2}
To set each behavior when receiving CR, LF, and FF codes.
{1} CR/LF/FF (default): CR=CR, LF=LF, FF=FF
{2} CR+LF/LF/FF: CR=CR+LF, LF=LF, FF=FF
{3} CR/CR+LF/CR+FF: CR=CR, LF=CR+LF, FF=CR+FF
Setting the waiting time for
auto continue mode
{#}{7}{7}{3}
To set the length of time before the unit recovers if a memory overflow occurs.
{1} Off (default): Deactivates this feature.
{2} 20s: 20 seconds
{3} 30s: 30 seconds
{4} 60s: 60 seconds
{5} 90s: 90 seconds
{6} 120s: 120 seconds
Changing the data timeout
setting
{#}{7}{7}{4}
The unit will automatically print the remaining data in memory when the
computer does not send data to the unit during the set time.
1. {Menu} i {#}{7}{7}{4} i {Set}
2. Enter the desired data timeout setting from 005 seconds to 600
seconds, using the dial keypad.
LThe default setting is 060 seconds.

Setting mutual A4/letter print
{#}{7}{7}{6}
This feature allows printing in A4-size even if letter-size recording paper is
loaded, and vice versa.
{0} Off: Deactivates this feature.
{1} On (default): Printing is possible between A4/letter-size.
