5.2.6 Booklet feature
You can make copies, and then fold them in half to create
booklets. The documents will be reduced to fit the
recording paper.
1Set the original (page 19).
2Press {V} or {^} repeatedly to select Page
Layout. i {<}/{>}
3Press {V} or {^} repeatedly to select Booklet.

4Press {V} or {^} repeatedly to select the desired
binding direction and pages.
Left Binding(1)

L(1): To make a booklet with every 4
documents printed as separate blocks.
L(All): To make a booklet with all documents
printed as 1 block.

6If necessary, enter the number of copies (page 36).

7When using the scanner glass:
1. {Start}
LThe unit will scan 1 page.
2. Place the next page on the scanner glass and
press {Set}. Repeat this until you have scanned
all pages.
3. If “Left Binding(1)” or “Right
Binding(1)” is selected in step 4, the unit will
start copying.
LYou can press {Start} anytime to start
copying.
LFor multiple copies, press {Start} to start
copying.
If “Left Binding(All)” or “Right
Binding(All)” is selected in step 4, press
{Start} to start copying.
When using the automatic document feeder:
{Start}
8After you finish copying, press {Stop} to reset this

5.2.7 Copy reservation
You can make a copy reservation under the following
conditions:
while the unit is printing documents from your
computer.
while the unit is printing received fax documents.
1Set the original (page 19).
2While PC Printing or Printing is displayed,
press {Copy}.
3Make necessary settings such as number of copies,
resolution, zoom features and page layout features.
i {Start}
LCopy Reserved will be displayed. The unit
will start copying after the current printing job.
