Monitor Display

There are two monitoring modes, alarm associated (SPOT) mode and alarm ignore (OFF) mode, depending on the selection for MONITOR MODE in the ALARM SETUP menu. Typical cases are described below for each setup.

Alarm Associated Mode

The image of the alarmed input is displayed on the mul- tiscreen monitor in single spot mode, interrupting what- ever live, playback, single or multiple image previously displayed. When a new alarm is received, the last acti- vated input image will be displayed.

The blinking camera title and "ALARM" indication on the monitor will be alternately. For example, when an alarm is received from CH1, "CH1 ALARM" will be displayed on the monitor.

CAM1CH1ALARM

Combination cameras connected to VIDEO IN 1-4 can be aimed at the preset position if is specified for PRE- SET in the TRIGGER ACTION SETUP of the REC SETUP menu.

When a camera signal loss has occurred, the monitor display switches to a blackout screen with the channel number indicated, for example, "CH 1 LOSS".

The images being displayed will remain on the monitor screen when an alarm arises, but the "ALARM" status indication will appear.

The following outputs for each channel will be enabled or disabled depending on the settings made in the TRIGGER ACTION SETUP menu.

The following will be disabled when OFF is selected for the channel.

The following will be enabled when REC&ALM is select- ed for the channel.

Only alarm recording will be enabled when REC is selected for the channel.
