Alarm Data (ALARM DATA) (exclusive to PS DATA)

The recorder pauses before sending a notice to the con- nected system controller when an alarm operates.

1.Move the cursor to ALARM DATA with the [D] or [C] button.

2.Select the parameter with the JogDial, and press the JogDial.

The default is 1S.

OFF: Select this when no system controller is connect- ed.

0S: Does not pause.

1S: Pauses 1 second.

5S: Pauses 5 seconds.

Camera System Setup (CAMERA SYSTEM SETUP) (exclusive to PS DATA)

This menu is provided for camera related setups such as camera numbers, cable loss compensation, and data com- munications. Cable loss compensation and data communi- cation setups are not applicable to cameras 5-8, because only cameras connected to VIDEO IN 1-4 can communicate with the recorder via the coaxial cable.

The default is S (short distance). M stands for medium and L for long.

6.Press the JogDial. The cursor moves to the DATA col- umn.

7.Select ON or OFF with the JogDial and press the JogDIal. Selection is applicable to CAM 1-4 only.

The default is ON.

ON: Enables data communications by use of PSD com- mands multiplexed on the coaxial cable.

OFF: Disables coaxial-multiplexed communications.

Note: Selecting OFF is recommended when cameras having no PSD communications are connected.

8.Repeat steps 2-7 above for other cameras.

9.Press the [SETUP/ESC] button to go back to the SERI-

AL PORT SETUP.

1.Move the cursor to CAMERA SYSTEM SETUP and press the JogDial.

2.Move the cursor to a camera and press the JogDial. The cursor moves to the NUM (camera number) col- umn.

3.Select a number by rotating the JogDial.

The default is the same as the camera port numbers 1- 8.

Assignable numbers: 001-128

4.Press the JogDial. The cursor moves to the COMP (compensation) column.

5.Select an appropriate compensation parameter depending on the cable distance by rotating the JogDial. Selection is applicable to CAM 1-4 only.

Note: The system will restart after the menu setup window is closed when any parameter in this window has been changed.

Line Speed (LINE SPEED)

1.Move the cursor to LINE SPEED with the [D] or [C] button.

2.Select the parameter with the JogDial, and press the JogDial.

The default is AUTO.

AUTO: The speed is automatically selected.

100M_FULL: 100 mega byte, full duplex

100M_HALF: 100 mega byte, half duplex

10M_FULL: 10 mega byte, full duplex

10M_HALF: 10 mega byte, half duplex
