You can use this unit to control a TV tuner (e.g.
For details concerning operation, refer to the TV tuner’s operation manual. This section pro- vides information on TV operations with this unit which differs from that described in the TV tuner’s operation manual.
Important
Depending on the TV tuner connected to this unit, some functions may not be operable. For de- tails, refer to the TV tuner’s operation manual.
1Source name
Shows the selected source name.
2Source icon
Shows which source has been selected.
3Band indicator
Shows which band the TV tuner is tuned to.
4Preset number indicator
Shows which preset has been selected.
5Channel indicator
Shows which channel the TV tuner is tuned.

Touch BAND repeatedly until the desired band is displayed, TV1 or TV2.
4To select a preset channel, touch LIST to display preset channels and touch a desired preset channel.
The preset channel you selected is tuned in.
5To perform manual tuning, briefly touch c or d.
The channels move up or down step by step.
# You can also perform manual tuning by press- ing cor dbutton or moving the joystick on the remote control left or right.
6To perform seek tuning, keep touching c or d for about one second and release. The tuner will scan the channels until a broad- cast strong enough for good reception is found.
# You can cancel seek tuning by briefly touching either cor d.
# If you keep touching cor dyou can skip broadcasting channels. Seek tuning starts as soon as you release the keys.
# You can also perform seek tuning by pressing and holding cor dbutton or holding the joystick on the remote control left or right.
Note
If you do not use the touch panel keys within 30 seconds, they will be hidden automatically.
