fromfat burning to fitness improving. This point is called EnergyPointer.The averageEnergyPointerv aluecor-
respondsto 69% of your maximum heartrate. However, it is normalthat EnergyPointervalue varies as your
dailyphysical and mental conditionv aries. YourA300 detects your body's daily state from your heart rateand
heartrate variabilityand, if necessary, adjusts theEnergyPointer accordingly.For example,if your body is
recoveredfromprevious training session andyou're not tired or stressed, then you arepreparedfor more
intensivetraining andthe Energy Pointer valuec hanges.The highest possible valueof EnergyPointeris 80%
ofyour maximum heart rate.

YourA300 uses Polarheart rate zones in trainings essions that you've plannedin the Flow web service
andsynced to your A300 as trainingtargets.
Polarheart ratezones introducea new level ofeff ectivenessin heart rate-basedtraining.Training is divided
intofive heart rate zones basedon percentages of maximum heartrate. With heart rate zones, you can easily
selectand monitor trainingintensities.
