Accessing SMS TextMessages

To read an SMS Textmessage:

©When you receive a textmessage, it will be displayed

automatically on your phone’s screen. Use your

navigation key to scroll down and view the entire

message.

To reply to an SMS Textmessage:

1. While the message is open, selectReply (left softkey).

–or –

Highlightthe message in Inbox, and select Options

(rightsoftkey) >Reply via > Text.

2. Compose your reply or use the presetmessages or icons.

nTo type a message, use your keypad to enter your

message. Use Mode(right softkey) to select a

character inputmode. (See “Entering Text”on

page 43.)

3. Review your reply and selectSend (left softkey).

(You may also selectadditional messaging options by

selecting Options[rightsoftkey] to change the recipients

or save to draft.)

Tip: If you have two or more notifications, the Missed Alertlistwill

appear. Selecta message in the listand press View (left

softkey) to view the message.
