Accessing Messaging
You can send and receive email and textmessages
and participate in Web-based chatrooms rightfrom your
phone. Messaging allows you to stay connected to friends,
family, and coworkers 24 hours a day anywhere on the
SprintNational Network.

Message Types

There are many types of textmessaging available on your
phone. These include SMS TextMessaging, Sprint® Instant
Messaging, Email, and Chat.
(SprintVoicemail provides voicemail-to-mailbox messaging.
For information on using your phone’s voicemail feature, see
“Using Voicemail”on page 195.)

Accessing SprintMail

SprintMail allows you to perform many of the typical email
functions from your phone thatyou can from your personal
computer. You can manage your SprintMail accountfrom
your phone or from your personal computer at
www.sprint.com.
To access SprintMail from your phone:
1. Select > Messaging > IM & Email.
2. SelectSprint Mail. (If you’re a first-time user, your phone
will promptyou to set up your Sprint Mail account by
establishing a user name and password.)
3. Selectthe folder you wish to view, such as Inboxor
Compose.
