Dialing Options
Dialing options are displayed when you press Options(right
softkey) after entering numbers in the phone’s standby mode.
To selectan option, highlightit and press .
vAbbrev. Dialto use Ph.Book Match or Prepend feature. (See
“Using Abbreviated Dialing”on page 41 and “Setting
Abbreviated Dialing”on page 77.)
vCallto dial the phone number.
vCall: Speaker Onto dial the phone number in
speakerphone mode.
vSend Messageto send an SMS Textmessage (page 203), a
Picture Mail (page 176) or an SMS Voice message
(page 207).
vSavePhone#to savethe phone number in your Contacts
list. (See “Saving a Phone Number”on page 37.)
vFindto displayContacts listentries that end with the digits
you entered. (See “Finding a Phone Number”on page 38.)
vHardPauseto insert a hard pause. (See “Dialing and
Saving Phone Numbers With Pauses”on page 38.)
v2-Sec. Pauseto insert a two-second pause. (See “Dialing

vHyphento insert a hyphen. (Hyphens aregenerally for
visual appeal only; they are notnecessary when entering
numbers.)
Tip: To speed dial a phone number, press and hold the appropriate
speed dial key (locations 2-9). See “Assigning Speed Dial
Numbers”on page 113.
