Communicating with PC Applications over a CSTA Interface
If this function has been configured (ask your service personnel), you can use your telephone to communi- cate with PC applications (CSTA = Computer Supported Telecommunications Applications). You send informa- tion to the application and receive information from the application, for example, on your telephone's display.

Temporarily interrupting communication with the application:
The telephone rings. You accept the call.
The "Data I/O Service" key flashes: communication with the application was automatically interrupted.
Resuming communication with the application:
Press the flashing "Data I/O Service" key. The LED lights up.
Ending communication with the application:
Select and confirm the appropriate CSTA message.
Lift and replace the handset.
