Youneed a Phillips No. 2 screwdriver and a flat screwdriver to completet heseprocedures.
gTo remove theold l amp module
1. Wait at least 30 minutes for the projector to cool down.
2. Disconnect the power cablef romthe projector.
3. Remove the lamp coverf romthe projector, and thenput it in a safe place.

If the cover is difficult t o remove,insert a flat s crewdriveror small coin into the slot on the
bottomof t helamp cover to gently pry the cover open.
4. Use the Phillips screwdriver to loosen the two captive screws from the bottom of the lamp
module.
NO T E
Don’t try to remove theses crews. Captive screws c an’t beremoved, but they must be
loosened.
5. Use the handleon the bottom of the lamp module to slide it out and removeit f romthe projector.
gTo put the newl amp module into theprojector
1. Remove the new lamp modulefrom its packaging.
2. Carefully place the lampmodule into the projectorusing the handleon the top of the module.
Holdt helamp module vertically and guideit into it s slot. Gently press the power endof the
lampmodule against the projectorto ensure the powerplug makes contact with t heprojector’s
powerreceptacle.

Youshould be able to place thelamp module into the projectoreasily wit houtapplying much
force.
3. Use the Phillips screwdriver to secure the captive screws.
CA U T I O N
Do not over-tightenthe screws.
4. Carefully replacethe lamp cover.
5. Connect the powercable to the wall outlet.
6. Put the old lamp modulein a secure container,and handle it gently until you recycle it.
