This menuenables you to entery ourpreferredaddress for receivinge-mail alerts and adjust related
settings.
Submenu setting Description
E-mailAlert Selects Enableto t urnon or Disable to turn off the E-mail Alert
function.
To Displays or allows you to set t hee-mail address of the e-mailalert
recipient.
CC Displays or allows you to set the e-mail addressof thee-mail alert
“copyto”recipient.
From Displays or allows you to set the e-mail addressof theuser who
sendst hee-mail alert.
OutgoingSMTP server Displays orallows y out o set the Simple Mail TransferProtocol
(SMTP)server that you use on your network.
Username Displays or allows you to set the SMTP s erveruser name.
Password Displaysor allows you to set t heSMTP serverpassword.
AlertC ondition Sendse-mail alerts wheneverLamp Warning,Lamp Life Alert,
ProjectorOverheatedand Fan Failed conditions occur. Selectt he
settings you want, and thenclic k Submit.

Theprojector sends an alerte-mail (SMART Alert) to your e-mail
address.Clic k E-mail Alert Test to confirm that your e-mail
addressand SMTP serversettings are correctby sending atest
e-mail(SMART Alert-Test Mail).
If the settings are not correct, the e-mailalert messages aren’t sent
orreceived successfully andno warning ornotification message are
availableto advise of this s tate.
Password settingsThis menuprovides a security function that allows an administratorto manage projectoruse and
enablethe AdministratorPass wordfunction.
Submenu setting Description
Password Whenthe passwordfunction is enabled, the administratorpassword
is requiredto access Web Management. Select Disable to allow
remoteweb managementof the projector without requiringa
password.
