After installing a new battery, Contact the nearest Yuasa-Exide, Inc. recycling center from the list below to get information on the proper disposal of your old lead-acid battery. Most federal and state regulations require lead-acid batter- ies be recycled. Do not throw away old batteries. Lead is a heavy metal and is toxic to living organisms.
