•Neveruseyourpressurecookerwithoutanyliquidinitforthiswillseriouslydamageit.Always makesurethatthereisenoughliquidinitduringcooking.

•Use heat source(s) that are compatible with your pressure cooker, in line with the instruc- tionsforuse.

•Neverfillyourpressurecookermorethantwo-thirdsfull(themaximummark).

•Forfoodthatexpandsduringcooking,likericeordriedvegetablesorfruitsauces,...neverfill yourpressurecookermorethanhalffull.

•After cooking meat with a superficial outer skin (e.g. tongue…) that may expand with the pressure,neverstabthemeatwhiletheskinlooksswollenunderpressureforyoumaybescal- ded.Werecommendthatyoupiercethemeatbeforecooking.

•Forpaste-likefood(e.g.splitpeas,rhubarb…),thepressurecookershouldbeslightlyshaken priortoopeningtoensurethatthesefoodsdonotsprayout.

•Always make sure that the operating and safety valves are not blocked before use. Refer to the“Beforecooking”heading.
