ATQ Quiet (Suppress Response Codes)

Your modem has a variety of messages or response codes which it sends in response to various commands.

Examples of these codes are the OK and CONNECT messages.

The Q command allows you to switch these messages on and off. If you switch the messages off, no response codes will be displayed on your screen — with the exception of responses from the ATSn? command and AT&V command.
