Control Panel

The control panel displays two screen types:

Print screens, for displaying printer status.

Menu screens, for configuring settings.

1.Display Screen shows status messages, menus, and toner levels.

2.Menu button selects the main menu to be displayed. Each button press advances the display to the next menu or to the print screen.

3.OK button selects the displayed menu option and prints selected reports and lists.

4.Wake Up/Power Saver button puts the printer into, or takes it out of the Energy Saver mode. When the printer is idle, it puts the printer into sleep mode and the button lights. When in the sleep mode, it wakes the printer and turns off the light in the button.

5.Cancel Job button cancels the current print or copy job.

6.Navigation/Menu select buttons:

Up/Down Arrow buttons scroll up and down through the menu display.

Back/Forward Arrow buttons move back and forward through the menus and menu display.

Note: The Back Arrow button displays the Walk-Up Features menu if you press it before pressing any other buttons.

7.Return button navigates up one menu level.

8.Status indicator light

Lights green when the printer is ready to receive data.

Blinks green when the printer is busy receiving data.

Lights red to indicate an error condition or warning that requires your attention.

Blinks red when an error occurs that requires technical support.

Off when the printer is in Energy Saver mode.
