5 Troubleshooting
5.3.5Error Requiring a Printer Restart
Following are descriptions and solutions requiring a restart. Errors requiring a restart are displayed when the following fatal error has occurred during printer operation.
•Foreign material disturbing the printer operation is involved in the printer.
•An electrical circuit (such as board, motor, or sensor) failure has occurred.
•An error on the control program has occurred.
If error requiring a restart has occurred, the printer prints and then stops (see below).
(1)Power relating to the driving system is shut off automatically.
(2)All indicator lights on the operation panel are turned on and beeps sound continuously.
(3)An error message is displayed on the operation panel.
Press any key on the operation panel to stop the beep sounds.
If an error requiring a restart has occurred, solve the problems to restart the printer and delete the error. If the same error message is displayed again, contact your local XEROX dealer. Be sure to inquire the code numbers of the error messages.
