1HDMI indicator
Lights up when the signal of the selected input source is input at HDMI IN 1 or HDMI IN 2 jacks (see page 19).
2DOCK indicator
Lights up when you station your iPod in a YAMAHA iPod universal dock (such as the
(see page 27).
3Battery charge indicator
Lights up when this unit charges the battery of the stationed iPod in the standby mode of this unit (see page 66).
4Input source indicators
The corresponding cursor lights up to show the currently selected input source.
5VOLUME level indicator
Indicates the current volume level.
6MUTE indicator
Flashes while the MUTE function is on (see page 41).
7Multi-information display
Shows the name of the current sound field program and other information when adjusting or changing settings.
896/24 indicator
Lights up when a DTS 96/24 signal is input to this unit.

Indicate the channel components of the current digital input signal.
Presence and surround back speaker indicators
Light up according to the number of presence and surround back speakers set for “PRESENCE SP” (see page 82) and “SB L/R SP” (see page 82) in “SOUND MENU” when “TEST” in “SOUND MENU” is set to “ON” (see page 85).

You can make settings for the presence and surround back speakers automatically by running “AUTO SETUP” (see
page 32) or manually by adjusting settings for “PRESENCE SP” (see page 82) and “SB L/R SP” (see page 82) in “SOUND MENU”.
