Table 3-1 DHCP Ethernet Setup Menu Fields

Field	Description	Example
DHCP	This field enables/disables the DHCP server. If it is set to Server,	None
	your Prestige will act as a DHCP server. If set to None, the DHCP	Server (default)
	server will be disabled. If set to Relay, the Prestige acts as a	Relay
	surrogate DHCP server and relays requests and responses
	between the remote server and the clients.
	When DHCP is used, the following four items need to be set:
Client IP Pool	This field specifies the first of the contiguous addresses in the IP	192.168.1.33
Starting Address	address pool.
Size of Client IP	This field specifies the size, or count, of the IP address pool.	32
Pool
Primary DNS	Enter the IP addresses of the DNS servers. The DNS servers are
Server	passed to the DHCP clients along with the IP address and the
Secondary DNS	subnet mask.
Server
Remote DHCP	If Relay is selected in the above DHCP= field, then enter the IP
Server	address of the actual, remote DHCP server here.

Follow the instructions in the following table to configure TCP/IP parameters for the Ethernet port.

IP Address	Enter the IP address of your Prestige in dotted decimal notation	192.168.1.1
IP Subnet	Your Prestige will automatically calculate the subnet mask based	255.255.255.0
Mask	on the IP address that you assign. Unless you are implementing

Multicast	Turn on/off IGMP support and select the version from IGMP-	IGMP-v2

IP Policies	You can apply up to four IP Policy sets (from twelve) by entering
	their numbers separated by commas, e.g., 3, 4,7,12.
Edit IP Alias	Choose Yes to enter Menu 3.2.1 for configuring second and	Yes
