Prestige 642R Series ADSL Router

Multiplexing	Press [space bar] to select the multiplexing method.	VC-based
		LLC-based
Incoming:	Enter the login name that this remote node will use
Rem Login	when it calls your Prestige. The login name in this field
	combined with the Rem Password will be used to
	authenticate this node.
Rem Password	Enter the password used when this remote node calls
	your Prestige.

Outgoing:
My Login	Enter the login name assigned by your ISP when the
	Prestige calls this remote node.
My Password	Enter the password assigned by your ISP when the
	Prestige calls this remote node.
Authen	This field sets the authentication protocol used for
	outgoing calls. Options for this field are:
	z CHAP/PAP – Your Prestige will accept either	CHAP/PAP
	CHAP or PAP when requested by this remote
	node.
	z CHAP – accept CHAP (Challenge Handshake	CHAP
	Authentication Protocol) only.
	z PAP – accept PAP (Password Authentication	PAP
	Protocol) only.
Route	This field determines the protocol that your Prestige will	IP / IPX /
	route.	IP+IPX /
		None
Bridge	Bridging is used for protocols that the Prestige does not	Yes or No
	route, e.g., SNA, or not turned on in the previous Route
	field. When bridging is enabled, your Prestige will
	forward any packet that it does not route to this remote
	node; otherwise, the packets are discarded. Press the
	[space bar] to toggle between the options.
Edit PPP Options	To edit the PPP options for this remote node, move the	Press [space
	cursor to this field. Use [space bar] to select Yes and	bar] to toggle
	press [Enter]. This will bring you to Menu 11.2 –	Yes then
	Remote Node PPP Options. For more information on	press [Enter]
	configuring PPP options, see the section Editing PPP
