Functions for educational purposes

The EM-15 OR provides two functions that may come in handy for music teachers or for those who use the EM-15 OR in class:

Deactivating or activating the Demo function

The EM-15 OR’s Demo function can be switched off so that pressing the [DEMO] button will have no effect at all. This may be useful in situations where the EM-15 OR is used in class. Here is how to deactivate the Demo func- tion:

(1)Switch off the EM-15 OR.

(2)Hold down the [DEMO] button while switching the EM-15 OR back on again.

This setting is remembered, so that next time you want to listen to a demo song, you have to repeat the above pro- cedure.

Deactivating the Arranger

Use the following procedure to ensure that the Arranger cannot be started or stopped:

(1)Switch off the EM-15 OR.

(2)Hold down the [STYLE] button while you switch the EM-15 OR back on again.

It will now be impossible to start/stop the Arranger using the [START/STOP] button, or to use the Sync Start func- tion.

Repeat the above procedure when you want to use the Arranger again.

L’EM-15 OR comporte deux fonctions qui pourraient bien tomber à pic pour les professeurs de musique mais aussi pour tous les utilisateurs de l’EM-15 OR:

Couper ou activer la fonction de démonstration

La fonction Demo de l’EM-15 OR peut être coupée de sorte qu’une pression sur le bouton [DEMO] reste sans effet. Cela peut s’avérer utile pour le travail en classe. Voici comment couper la fonction de démonstration:

(1)Mettez l’EM-15 OR hors tension.

(2)Maintenez le bouton [DEMO] enfoncé tout en remet- tant l’EM-15 OR sous tension.

Ce réglage est mémorisé, ce qui signifie que si vous vou- lez écouter la démonstration, vous devrez répéter cette procédure.

Couper l’Arranger

La procédure suivante empêche de faire démarrer et d’arrêter l’Arranger:

(1)Mettez l’EM-15 OR hors tension.

(2)Maintenez le bouton [STYLE] enfoncé tout en remet- tant l’EM-15 OR sous tension.

Il sera alors impossible de faire démarrer l’Arranger avec le bouton [START/STOP] ou la fonction Sync Start. Répétez cette procédure pour réactiver l’Arranger.
