3. Automatic flash mode
In the auto flash mode, the flash unit’s sensor
measures the light reflected from the subject. The flash is cut off as soon as sufficient light has been emitted for correct exposure.
This eliminates the need to recalculate and readjust the aperture each time the shooting distance is changed, pro- vided that the subject remains within the indicated auto flash range.
Setting procedure for automatic mode (fig. 4):
