Installing DV Media PRO Program		DV Media PRO Software installieren

✤To play back moving images recorded by the Camcorder or streaming data transferred through the USB connection on a PC, the Video Codec program should be installed.

✤Do not connect the Camcorder to PC before installing the program.

✤If another Camcorder or scanner is connected, please disconnect it in advance.

✤This explanation is based on Windows® 98SE OS.

✤DV Media Pro User's Manual is included on the accompanying CD(D:/help/) in Adobe's Portable Document Format (PDF) The user's manual can be viewed using Acrobat Reader software, which is also included on the CD (D:/Support/AcrobatReader/ AcroReader51_ENU_full.exe).

(The Acrobat Reader is a freeware product of AdobeSystems,Inc.)

✤DV Media Pro User’s Manual is in English.

Program Installation

1.Insert the software CD into the CD-ROM drive of your computer.

■Installation selection screen appears.

2.If the installation selection screen does not appear after inserting the CD, click “Run” in the Windows “Start” menu and execute Autorun.exe file to begin installation. When CD-ROM drive is set to “D:drive”, type “D:/autorun.exe” and press Enter.

3.Click the icons listed below to install the selected software.

■DV Driver Click

-USB removable Disk Driver (Windows® 98SE only) (VP-D363(i)/D364W(i)/D365W(i) only)

-USB PC CAMERA & STREAMING Driver (CAPTURE DRIVER)

-Connect a Camcorder to your PC to complete the DV Driver installation.

1)This function works only in Camera mode.

2)Connect the camcorder to the PC using the USB cable.

3)The SAMSUNG A/V Capture driver installation begins on the PC.

■DirectX 9.0 Click

■Video Codec Click

The Video Codec needs to be installed in order to play the moving images (stored in the Memory Card) on a PC or to use the USB Streaming/PC Camera functions.

✤Für die Wiedergabe der mit dem Camcorder aufgezeichneten Videoclips sowie der über die USB-Verbindung übertragenen Streaming-Daten auf einem PC muss der Video-Codec installiert sein.

✤Installieren Sie die erforderliche Software, bevor Sie den Camcorder an den PC anschließen.

✤Falls eine andere Kamera oder ein Scanner an den PC angeschlossen ist, trennen Sie diese Verbindung vorher.

✤Die folgende Anleitung gilt für das Betriebssystem Windows® 98 SE.

✤Auf der mitgelieferten CD (D:/help/) befindet sich das Handbuch von DVC Media Pro im Portable Document Format (PDF) von Adobe. Programminstallation

1.Legen Sie die Software-CD in das CD-ROM-Laufwerk des Computers ein.

■Der Installationsbildschirm wird angezeigt.

2.Wenn der Installationsbildschirm nach Einlegen der CD-ROM nicht automatisch geöffnet wird, klicken Sie in der Windows-Taskleiste auf “Start” und anschließend auf “Ausführen (Run)”, um die Datei Autorun.exe auszuführen. Wenn Ihr CD-ROM- Laufwerk den Laufwerksbuchstaben “D:” trägt, geben Sie im Feld “Ausführen (Run)” Folgendes ein: “D:/autorun.exe”. Drücken Sie anschließend die Eingabetaste.

3.Klicken Sie auf das Symbol der Software-Komponente, die Sie installieren möchten.

■DV Driver

-Treiber für USB-Wechseldatenträger (nur Windows® 98 SE) (nur VP-D363(i)/D364W(i)/D365W(i))

-USB-PC-Kameratreiber und Streaming-Treiber (TREIBER FÜR AUFNAHME)

-Schließen Sie den Camcorder an den Computer an, um die Installation des DV-Treibers abzuschließen.

1)Diese Funktion ist nur im Modus Camera (Aufnahme) verfügbar.

2)Verbinden Sie den Camcorder über das USB-Kabel mit dem Computer.

3)Die Installation des A/V-Aufnahmetreibers von SAMSUNG beginnt.

■DirectX 9.0

■Video Codec

Der Video-Codec muss installiert sein, um die auf der Speicherkarte vorhandenen Videoclips auf einem Computer wiedergeben zu können

oder um den Camcorder für USB-Streaming bzw. als PC-Kamera	91
