Tack Welding Frame Rails: (continued)
8. | Weld Bar Mounting Straps. The RH |
Front bar Mounting Straps will have to be cut | |
(See Figure 31) and welded to the top of the | |
Mounting Tube (See Figure 43). Another | |
one cut off and welded to the Bottom of the | |
Frame Rail. (See Figure 45) The length of | |
these Bar mounting straps should be cut so | |
it will not be sticking over past frame rail. | |
| These can be Tack Welded while still |
mounted on Tractor, Illustrations are shown | |
with frame rails off of Tractor because it is | |
easier to see and it can be done after they are | |
removed from tractor if you want. | |
| These must be Tack welded in align- |
ment when installed, so the holes are in line. | |
If not in line the Bolt cannot be installed. | |
Measure the distance from the Angle Mount- | |
ing to the Mounting Bar that you have welded |
Tack Weld Here in 3 places on top and 3 places on bottom
