Chapter 1. Introduction

Control Port Input

The control port input provides the following func- tions:

•RS-232 input from a PC or a modem for control of the TSU 600

•Chain input from another TSU 600 or TSU 100

•Up to 9600 baud operation

•Acts as input for PC control or as input for a chained connection

•Input for flash memory software downloads

Chain Port Output

The chain port output provides the following func- tions:

•RS-232 output to chain control to other TSUs

•Up to 9600 baud operations

•Automatic setup; no user input required
