
Chapter 3. Operation
Alarm
Used as quick access to the active alarm display menus. This can be activated while any other menu item is in use. When the Alarm menu is exited, the unit returns to the location of the same menu that was active when Alarm was selected.
Shift
When pressed and held, causes the shift functions (identified above the keys) to be activated.
Clear
Used in various menus to clear data/result fields.
Cancel
Cancels the last operation or exits the current menu level to the next higher level. If a value on a menu was selected but not entered, Cancel terminates the function and restores the previous setting.
Enter
Activates menu selections. Enters data value selec- tions into the system.
Up and Down Arrows
Moves cursor through the menus or scrolls through data selector lists.
Keypad
These nine keys have dual functions. The first func- tion is indicated by the lettering on the key itself. This is a standard phone keypad. The second function is a shifted function accessed by pressing and holding the shift key # along with another key. The shift function is indicated by the lettering above the keys.
A, B, C, D, E, F
Used as needed to extend the menu selection fields.
