Chapter 1. Introduction

DTE Timed

The DTE is the source of timing. The TSU 600 uses the incoming DTE clock to determine the transmission timing. This is typically used in applications where it is necessary to have the DTE as the primary clock source, (such as limited distance line drivers). See Figure 1-6.

The DTE source timing is restricted from use when a secondary interface is used at the same time.
