Chapter 3. Operation

Utility (UTIL)

The Utility menu is used to view and to set system parameters. This menu includes the following items:

Time/Date

Displays and can be used to set the time and date.

Factory Restore

Restores the factory default settings to all unit param- eters. See the appendix, System Configuration Chart, for defaults.

Set Passcode

Allows a passcode to be added, changed, or deleted.

Unit ID

Displays and can be used to set the unit ID.

Software Revision (Software REV)

Displays the current software revision level loaded into the base unit controller. This information is required when requesting assistance from ADTRAN Technical Support or when updates are needed.
