Radio Operation
Automatic Seek Tuning
There are two modes you can select for auto tuning, DX and Local:
•DX (Distance) mode (with DX SEEK indicator
3 | ON); Both strong and weak stations will be |
tuned in. | |
• | Local mode (with DX SEEK indicator OFF); |
2 | 1 | Only strong stations will be tuned in. |
The initial setting is DX. |
Press the BAND button repeatedly to select the desired radio band, FM or AM.

→Distance → Local → Manual
Press the 1 (g) or 3 (f) button to automatically seek a radio station downward or upward respectively.
When the unit finds a station, it stops. To automatically seek next station, press the same button again.
Note: When a stereo station is tuned in, the STEREO indicator appears in the display.
