Note: This manual describes 2.048Mbps Wireless Modems with hardware version 2 that are running software version 1.7. A 2.048Mbps Wireless Modem running software version 1.7 should be only used in links where the same software version is running on the other modemt. It is not recommended to run software version 1.7 on hardware version 1, since many features available in software version 1.7 are not supported. This includes support of FractionalE1 and Fractional T1 LIUs, synchronization of collocated units and RSSI measurement using a DVM.
