Setting Up MAC-Based Authentication

MAC-based authentication allows only client devices with specified MAC addresses to associate and pass data through the access point. Client devices with MAC addresses not in a list of allowed MAC addresses are not allowed to associate with the access point. You can create a list of allowed MAC addresses in the access point management system or on a server used for MAC-based authentication, and you can enable MAC-based authentication on one or both of the access point radios.
