Figure 9–4 shows a BN21W-0B Y cable, which you may attach to a KZPSA-BB or KZPBA-CB SCSI adapter that has had its onboard termination removed. You can also use the BN21W-0B Y cable with a HSZ40 or HSZ50 controller or the unterminated differential side of a SCSI signal converter.

You will normally use a Y cable on a KZPSA-BB or KZPBA-CB host bus adapter where there is not room for an H885-AA trilink, and a trilink connector elsewhere.
