Installing the Control Panel Assembly

CAUTION: Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. You should only perform troubleshooting and simple repairs as authorized in your product documentation, or as directed by the online or telephone service and support team. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not covered by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came with the product.

1Connect the control panel cable to the control panel board.

2Align the slot in the control panel board with the standoff on the chassis and secure with the screw. See Figure 3-23.

3Secure the link bracket lock by replacing the screw. See Figure 3-23.

4Secure the control panel cable through the clips beneath the optional tape or optical drive and on the side of the power supply unit.
