Installing the Cooling Fan

CAUTION: Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. 1Align the tabs on the system fan with the securing slots on the chassis.

2Slide the system fan into the securing slots until the tabs lock into place.

3Connect the fan cable to the system board. See Figure 6-1 for the location of the connector.
