IMPORTANT

To maintain proper engine operating temperature, cooling air must pass freely through the cylinder fin area. This flow of air carries combustion heat away from the engine.

Overheating and engine seizure can occur when:

•Air intakes are blocked, preventing cooling air from reaching the cylinder,

•Dust and grass build up on the out side of the cylinder. This build-up insulates the engine and prevents the heat from leaving.

Removal of cooling passage blockages or cleaning of cylinder fins is considered “Normal Maintenance”. Any resultant failure attributed to lack of maintenance is not warranted.

•Remove dust and dirt from between fins.

•Before each use, remove accumulated debris from bottom engine intake grille located between the fuel tank and starter.

INSTANDHALTUNG DES KÜHLSYSTEMS

WICHTIG

Um die angemessene Motorbetriebstemperatur aufrecht zu erhalten, muß Kühlungsluft ungehindert den Zylinderrippenbereich durchfließen können.

Durch diesen Luftstrom wird die Verbrennungshitze vom Motor wegtransportiert.

Unter folgenden Umständen kann es passieren, daß der Motor heißläuft und sich festfrißt:

1.Alette del cilindro

2.Presa dell’aria

IMPORTANTE

Per mantenere la giusta temperatura di esercizio del motore l’aria refrigerante deve passare liberamente attraverso le alette del cilindro. Questo flusso d’aria porta via dal motore il calore causato dalla combustione.

Il surriscaldamento e il grippaggio del motore si verificano quando:

•Die Luftzufuhröffnungen sind blockiert, wodurch keine Kühlungsluft die Zylinder erreichen kann,

oder

•Staub und Gras haben sich außen am Zylinder angesammelt. Durch diese Ablagerung wird

der Motor isoliert, und die Hitze kann nicht entweichen.

Die Beseitigung von Hindernissen aus Kühlungsluft-Durchgängen bzw. die Reinigung von Zylinderrippen gilt als “Normale Pflege und Instandhaltung”. Eine sich aus mangelhafter Pflege und Instandhaltung ergebende Störung fällt nicht unter die Garantieerklärung.

•Staub und Schmutz zwischen den Rippen entfernen.

•Polvere ed erba si accumulano all’esterno

del cilindro. Questo deposito isola il motore ed impedisce la dispersione del calore.

La rimozione dell’ostruzione del passaggio dell’aria di raffreddamento o la pulizia delle alette del cilindro sono considerati “manutenzione ordinaria”. Eventuali guasti causati da mancanza di manutenzione sono esclusi dalla garanzia.

•Rimuovere polvere e sporco dalle alette.
