Due to larger files sizes, the maximum amount of drive space available is decreased to accommodate the last recording in a session. For instance, if you have 90 minutes of disk space remaining, after you set RETRO record to less than 60 minutes, the available space changes to 88 minutes of available disk space.
If you set RETRO time to 88 minutes, the recording will be made up of about nine and a half 9 minute, 13 second clips. There must be space available in this situation in order to record the final clip which eventually will write over clip 1. This ensures that at any given time, at least 88 minutes of video exists after a complete RETRO DISK record loop.
