Chapter 8 Troubleshooting

Paper jams/pick errors occur frequently.

Do the documents meet the requirements described in			Use documents that meet the requirements.

Is the inside of the ADF free of foreign matter?			Clean or remove any foreign matter from the ADF.

Are the consumables (*1) installed correctly?			Install the consumables correctly.
			For details, refer to "Chapter 7 Replacing the Consumables" (page 117).

Are the consumables dirty?			Clean the consumables.
			For details, refer to "Chapter 6 Daily Care" (page 108).

Are the consumables worn out?			Check the consumable counters and replace them if necessary.
			For details, refer to "Chapter 7 Replacing the Consumables" (page 117).

			If the problem persists, check the items in "8.4 Before You Contact the Scanner
