Installing applications from a Macintosh computer

1.On your Macintosh, launch Palm Desktop.

2.From the HotSync menu, choose Install Handheld Files.

3.Select the User Name that corresponds to your Treo phone from the User drop-down menu.

4.Click Add To List.

5.Locate the .prc or .pdb ﬁle you want to install on your Treo. Highlight it and click Add File.

6.Perform a HotSync operation to install the application(s) on your Treo.

If a you encounter a problem with a third-party application (such as an error message), contact the application’s author or vendor. For general troubleshooting of third-party applications, see page 145.
