Refer to Running Diagnostic Tests on page 115 for information on troubleshooting library operation or other problems you may encounter. If you experience problems not covered by this manual, contact your support representative.

Rewinding/Removing a Stuck Tape

If a tape gets stuck in the drive, attempt to eject the tape:

Manually from the tape library

By holding the [UNLOAD] button for 10 to 15 seconds to force an eject from the drive

Remotely, using the Web-Based Library Administrator

Using your host backup software

If these attempts are not successful, contact your support representative.
