Drive Configuration

The Drive Config Menu lets you modify each drive’s configuration. Figure 18 on page 53 shows an example screen. For each drive, the menu displays:

■Drive position

■Drive type

■If the drive path is SCSI, the drive’s SCSI ID and its SCSI bus relationship with the library.

Sub-menus let you change the SCSI ID and configure whether the drive is on the same SCSI bus as the library. For more information, see Drive Entries on page 76.

 

Note

The cursor position is saved on all screens that list the library’s

 

 

drives.

 

 

 

The panel displays 16 lines of data per menu. If your library

 

 

contains more than eight drives, you must use the down arrow

 

 

button to scroll to drives 08 and above.
