Introduction

The HP Color LaserJet 3500 printer comes with software and installers for Microsoft (R) Windows (R) and Apple Computer, Inc., Macintosh systems. For information about specific system installers, drivers, and components, locate the section that corresponds to that system.

Supported operating systems

The following operating systems (OSs) support the HP Color LaserJet 3500 printing-system software, including standard printer command language (PCL) drivers. Windows OSs support a full-featured configuration of the

HP Color LaserJet 3500 series printer; other OSs support varying levels of functionality.

•Windows 98

•Windows Millennium Edition (Me)

•Windows NT (R) (Service packs 3 through 6)

•Windows 2000 (Service packs 1 and 2)

•Windows XP Home Edition and Windows XP Professional (Service pack 1)

•Windows Server 2003

Note

Throughout this guide, Windows XP is used to denote both Windows XP Home Edition and Windows XP
