par Commands from PC System Management Station (SMS)

A HP-UX partition is required to perform changes to the complex, that could affect the Instant Capacity state of the complex, using par commands (parmodify or parcreate). Therefore, if a par command is executed on an Instant Capacity complex from a PC System Management Station (SMS), the command must be directed towards a HP-UX partition in order to succeed. The par commands support this functionality through the -hoption.
