Instant Capacity Manpages icod_modify (1M) Manpage

-dto stop the use of temporary capacity. It is not

necessary to use the -toption when using the -d

option. If a previous authorization via icod_modify

has resulted in temporary capacity being consumed in

a virtual partition environment, deactivating a

processor with a vparmodify command temporarily

reduces the consumption of temporary capacity. A

subsequent processor activation using vparmodify

increases consumption of temporary capacity if the

activation results in more active processors than

licensed processors.
