Running Standalone Diagnostics

Consider the following when you run Standalone Diagnostics:

ŸThe diagnostic disc must remain in the CD-ROM drive for the entire time diagnostics are executing.

ŸThe diagnostic CD-ROM cannot be ejected from the CD-ROM drive once the

diagnostics have loaded. The disc can only be ejected after the sys been turned off and then turned on (standalone mode) or after the di program has terminated (Online concurrent mode).

ŸThe SCSI adapter (or circuitry) controlling the CD-ROM drive from which nostics were loaded cannot be tested.

Running Online Diagnostics
